Hi, my name is Samantha Kimmel. I am a Board Certified Medical Illustrator. I received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Medical Illustration at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).  In the four years at RIT, I was able to experience hands on cadaver dissections where I learned and drew from real life. I also experienced and drew from live surgery in the operating room at the local Rochester General Hospital. Taking these life experiences, I created illustrations using techniques utilized by Medical Illustrators. As a medical illustrator my goal is to create biomedical illustrations that are accurate, produce clarity, and are eye catching. I also dabble in graphic design and illustration. Art is a passion of mine no matter what the subject matter.
